Timbren Suspension Enhancement System Spacer Kit Installation - 2022 Toyota Tundra- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at Etrailer, and today we're taking a look at installing the Timbren rear spacer kit for the rear suspension enhancement on a 2022 Toyota Tundra. Now, these are gonna be a great addition if you've lifted your truck, have aftermarket suspension, or you want your Timbrens to engage quicker and reducing the amount of sag that your truck has while under load. If you've added Timbrens to your Tundra or you're planning on adding Timbrens, something that you're gonna want to consider is closing up the gap that this still has. Now, the factory downs bumper, it's kind of a laughable at how much of a gap it takes for it to close down and finally bottom out. And that's gonna really translate to a truck that sags quite a bit. And the Timbrens do a really good job of reducing that, and that's gonna give you a ton of different benefits across the board, whether it be handling, sway control, having better steering feel, better braking, and overall just less wear and tear on your suspension. more

Hey guys, it's Jake here with Etrailer. Today we have a 2024 Toyota Sienna, and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the universal seven and four pole wiring kit. You're gonna have a seven pole plug to connect up trailers with brakes and a four pole plug to connect up trailers without brakes. Having both of these options is really nice to have on the back of your vehicle because no matter what trailer you pull up to, you're gonna be able to pull either one of them successfully, whether it's a four pole or a seven pole. The four pole is going to give you your basic functions. That will be your running lights, your left turn, your right turn, and your stop signal. more

Front Runner Ladder Review - 2015 Toyota 4Runner- Video

Now the ladder has a weight capacity of 260 pounds. Myself, I'm 240, so I'm getting pretty close to the limit there, but I will say it feels pretty solid. The one downside I have, or complaint I'd have about it is it's really narrow. more

If you are looking for a sleek, easy to use roof rack system that you can carry around fun accessories like kayaks or a bike rack, or even expand your cargo space through the roof box or roof basket, well our Yakima roof rack here is gonna be a good option for you. Something very unique to the Yakima Skyline system is how easy it is to take off and reattach. So you just pull the end caps, you can lift it off of the landing pad and you even get little storage covers to put on top so that you have a very sleek system. So this keeps the functionality of having a roof rack, but if you don't want the roof rack on, you can take it right off. What I've found though with the Highlander is there really isn't a reason to take off your crossbars because look at the roof of the car. more

Taking a closer look at our system, it's gonna be comprised of our 50-inch JetStream crossbars, our skyline towers, and our landing pad bases. Those are all gonna work together to kinda give you some extra space up top if you wanna carry any roof boxes or kayaks too. Our crossbars are gonna be made of aluminum with a black powder coat finish. It just means it's gonna be lightweight and corrosion resistant. Even though it's made of aluminum, it can still withhold 165 pounds. more

This is the ETBC7 from Etrailer, and we installed it on our 2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser. Now even if your FJ came with a factory tow package, more than likely, it's just gonna be the four-way flat, which is just basic lighting functions. Now the ETBC7 Kit is going to allow you to have both a seven-way RV style plug in the back and a four-way flat plug in the back. It's gonna come with wiring, circuit breakers, everything you need to install a brake controller on your Toyota. Yakima OverHaul HD Adjustable Truck Bed Ladder Rack Installation - 2022 Toyota Tundra Y01151- Video
Hi, everyone. Aiden here with "etrailer." Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima Overhaul Adjustable Ladder Rack and seeing how it installs on our 2022 Toyota Tundra. So the way this mounts up is actually using our existing utility track system on our Tundra. So if you've got another Toyota truck or a Nissan truck this kit's gonna come with the adapter pieces to allow this to work with that track system, makes the install process very easy and maintains the full weight capacity. And like I mentioned before this is a height adjustable system, so from the top of the bed rail to the top of the crossbar it can be adjusted anywhere from 19 all the way up to 30 inches of height. We've got our set at 25 right now which gives us just enough clearance over the top of the cab. more

So this kit here is gonna be a perfect option for all you see Sienna owners there who have larger trailers with electric brakes and or an onboard battery because if we know a little bit about trailers, trailers that have electric brakes and or an onboard battery require a 7-way trailer connector. Now the most common trailer connector for this vehicle is a 4-way. There's actually some plug and play options. Now you will still need one of those to install this kit but where this kit comes into play is this kit is actually gonna adapt the 4-way. It's gonna use all those circuits that are already on the vehicle and adapt that to the 7-way we need for our larger trailer. more

Hello neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the custom Redarc mounting panel for your brake controller on a 2019 Toyota Sequoia. In many times when mounting up the Redarc, you're gonna be using this little plate and it's gonna need a hole drilled in the dash for this to slide in and you can kind of put it wherever you want which is fine. But the problem is you are drilling into your dash and if you have options to make the installation easier and a little bit cleaner, this is gonna be the option for it because this fits into your Toyota knockout plate. You can simply take out the old one here and then this pops in place just as it would as an OEM. So it's in a really nice spot here. more

This is gonna be a really cool system if you're looking to just carry one bike and you're carrying a lot of different type of bikes, this is gonna be a double wheel mount style. And that's what I mean, a couple different style of bikes. Whether you're carrying a bigger mountain bike like we have here, it's gonna have a good wheelbase, or if you're maybe carrying a smaller road bike the next day, we're not gonna have to go back and forth and make a lot of adjustments to cradles. Kit ETBC7's main purpose is to take a four pole wiring that's functioning on your vehicle, and transferring that into a seven way, in addition to a four pole. You're gonna get the necessary wiring that you need for pretty much all the circuits with the exception of your reverse light circuit. Hi everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer.com And today we are looking at our Yakima overhaul HD ladder rack here for tonneau covers on our 2021 Toyota Tacoma. If you have a tonneau cover, or if you want to add a tonneau cover to your vehicle but you also want a ladder rack these are great options because these mount into the T track channels on your tonneau cover. So make sure you have that channel right there so that you can Mount through these ladder racks to it. This works with Pace Edwards, Retracts pro and really any other tonneau cover that has those channels. If you already have a Yakima overhaul HD or an outpost, you can get this adapter kit to adapt your ladder rack to your tonneau cover. more

Or if we just have something dirty or muddy here that we don't want dirty and got the inside of our 4Runner, we can throw it up in the basket, get a secured, and then be good to go.Like I said, this is a really big basket. Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit Installation - 2018 Toyota Tacoma- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Toyota Tacoma, we're gonna be installing Roadmaster's Charge Line Kit, part number RM156-25. This charge line kit is gonna allow your RV to charge the battery on your vehicle while you're pulling it behind it. This way, whenever you get to your destination you don't have to worry about the battery being dead and stuck without being able to go anywhere. It does this using a circuit breakered circuit from your 6 volt connector to your battery. And it's a 15 amps maximum charge and it comes with all the connections and wiring you'll need to get it hooked up. First thing we did was mount our circuit breaker. more

Yakima Roof Rack Installation - 2017 Toyota 4Runner- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Toyota 4Runner we're going to be test fitting the Yakima RoundBar Roof Rack System, consisting of part numbers Y00408, these are the round 48 crossbars, part number Y03536, this is the RoundBar SL adapter kit and part number Y00147 and these are the Timberline towers for the Yakima crossbars, particularly for factory raised side rails. The Yakima RoundBar Roof Rack System is great for carrying a wide variety of accessories on your roof while freeing up space inside your vehicle. This can carry anything from bike racks to cargo baskets to cargo boxes. The RoundBars are strong and durable, however, you may experience some sound and noise while you're driving around with these. Yakima does have fairings that they offer to cut down the wind noise and drag, which you can find on etrailer.com or you can upgrade these bars to either the CoreBars or the JetStream bars as well.Our end caps are lockable by knocking out these plastic portions here. Speaker 1: Today, on our 2014 Toyota Prius C, we'll be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Yakima Roof Rack System. This is going to consist of the Yakima Round Bars, part number: Y00408, the baseline towers, part number: Y00146, the adapters for our baseline towers, part number: Y03536, and our fit kit for our Prius, part number: Y06135 and Y06179.The Yakima Round Bar Roof Rack System is a great solution for carrying your vehicle accessories on your roof, whether those are bike racks, ski and snowboard carriers, or cargo baskets as long as they work with the round bars. The crossbars are made out of a solid steel construction, so they're strong and durable and they have a rubber coating, which will help to prevent rust and corrosion.The baseline towers are going to allow us to secure our crossbars to our roof rack, and these do have the option to place in the Yakima Same Key System Lock Core and that's going to prevent theft and tampering. When we remove the cover, you can see our fit kit on the inside. This is going to be custom-cut to our vehicle to give us a nice, secure fit. Any portion that actually touches our vehicle is going to have a rubber coating to prevent any scratches or abrasions.The baseline towers have a weight capacity of 220 pounds, though you do want to double check your vehicle's owner's manual to make sure your roof can withstand that much weight. more

Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2000 Toyota Sienna- Video
Today on our 2000 Toyota Sienna, we'll be installing the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller, part number 90885. We'll be installing this in conjunction with the etrailer Brake Controller install kit, part number ETBC7. Starting with our install kit here at the back of the vehicle, we're going to mount the new 7-pole bracket to our new 7 and 4-pole trailer connector. We'll use the bolts and nuts provided with our install kit to secure the bracket to the trailer connector. Once we have the hardware installed finger tight, we'll go ahead and run it down. Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2005 Toyota Sienna- Video
Today on our 2005 Toyota Sienna, we'll be installing the etrailer ETBC7 brake controller install kit part number ETBC7. Along with the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller and it's part number 90885. We'll be adding this to a vehicle that's already equipped with a hitch and 4-Pole flat wiring harness. To start, we'll first go ahead and assemble the 7-Pole adapter bracket. With the hardware provided, we'll use it to attach the bracket to the 7-Pole adapter. We'll go ahead and take the bracket and feed it over the wires and up to the back of the mounting surface for the 7-Pole adapter. Then we'll take the screws, feed them through the front side of the 7-Pole and secure it with the nuts on the backside. more

Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2013 Toyota Tundra- Video
Today, on our 2013 Toyota Tundra, we'll be installing the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Brake Controller, part number 90195. In conjunction with the Tekonsha Plug and Play Wiring Adapter, part number 3040-P. To begin our install, we'll first go ahead and mount the brake controller bracket. For this application, I'll be using a couple of self tapping screws or you can also use the screws provided with the brake controller install kit. Once we have the brake controller mounted, we'll then go ahead and set the brake controller in the bracket and secure it with the screws provided in the install kit. Next, we'll need to go ahead and plug in our Plug and Play Wiring Adapter. Before I install the wiring harness, I'm using black electrical tape to wrap up the wires to hold the ground wire to the harness and to clean up our install look. Now with the taped up, we'll go ahead and take the white connector and plug it into the manufacturer's towing port, that's located on the driver's side, just above the kick panel and between it and the parking brake pedal. Now, with that connection made, we'll take the white wire, with the pre-attached ring terminal, which should be the ground wire for our harness, and secure here it to a body ground, which our parking brake pedal bracket is grounded so we can use our self tapping screw and secure it directly to that. Now, with those connections made, we'll go ahead and route our wire back over to the brake controller and install it into the back of the brake controller. Now we have it routed and installed, I'll go ahead and use a couple of black zip ties to secure our wiring up underneath the dash, and then we'll cut off the excess from the zip ties to clean up our install look. Now with that, we're ready to hit the road. That's about it the install of the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Brake Controller, part number 90195, in conjunction with the Tekonsha Plug and Play Wiring Adapter, part number 3040-P on our 2013 Toyota Tundra. . more

All right, today, on this 2012 Toyota Highlander, we're going to install part number 90885. This is the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller. Now, to help us to install this brake controller, we're also going to use part number ETBC7. This is the Brake Controller Install Kit. We're going to start with that part number first. Now, ETBC7 kit will contain a 7-pole connector and all parts requiring to go up to our brake controller up towards the front. more

Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2006 Toyota Tundra- Video
Today, on our 2006 Toyota Tundra, we will be installing the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 trailer brake controller, part number 90885. The first step for our install is locating the factory wiring harness for the tow package. This wiring harness was located on the drivers side kick-panel, back with all the factory wiring. You can see it electrical taped back on the corner. Well cut back the electrical tape and pull the harness out. After weve located the wiring we need, well proceed onto the ground. Here I use one of the factory bolts to attach my ground wire to. Just to help with installation I cut part of the hoop connector, just to help it thread in. more

Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2014 Toyota Highlander- Video
Today on our 2014 Toyota Highlander, we're going to be installing the Teconsha Voyager Trailer Brake Controller, part number 39510. Some other parts that we'll also be using today during our installation is the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controllers, part number ETBC7, as well as dielectric grease, part number 11755. Now, without your trailer connected to your vehicle, the brake controller will not have any lights on. When you plug your trailer on, you'll notice that the light comes on. Now, you will need to set your brake controller for your individual trailer following the manufacturer's instructions. Now, we'll go ahead and begin our install. We're going to begin here at the rear of the vehicle. This vehicle already has a four-flat wiring installed but we're going to need to remove the factory bracket. more

Yakima Roof Rack Fairing Review - 2014 Toyota Camry- Video
Today on our 2014 Toyota Camry we're going to be test fitting the 44" fairing for Yakima roof racks, part number Y07048. With our Yakima Q Towers Roof Rack System already installed on the Camry we'll begin our test fit with both wing nuts and carriage bolts removed from our fairing. We'll then place it in front of our front load bar and start bringing our clips around our bar. With all four of our clips around we'll now take a quick look to be sure we have our fairing centered. We'll then go to the outside clamp on the driver side, place our carriage bolt down through the top of the clamp being sure that it engages both the top and the bottom, then secure it underneath using the wing nut. With our driver side secure we'll now make our way around to the passenger side, repeat that same tightening process, and just like that we're ready to head down the road. That will complete today's test fit of the 44" Yakima fairing, part number Y07048, on our 2014 Toyota Camry. . more

Derale Combination Transmission and Engine Oil Cooler Installation - 2012 Toyota 4Runner- Video
Today on our 20174 Toyota 4Runner, we'll be installing the Derale Combination Cooler. Part number D15902. Now, to begin out install, we'll first go ahead and open up the hood. We've got remove the top fascia cover that will go between the fascia and core support. This says multiple push pin fasteners will need to be removed. To remove these push pin fasteners, we'll simply pry up on the center of the fastener and then remove it completely. Next, we'll start removing the multiple fasteners to undo the front fascia. They'll be fasteners that secure the top of the fascia inside the wheel well and underneath. Once we remove all these fasteners which will be bolts and push pin fasteners, we'll then go ahead and pull out on the wheel well to release the fascia from the fasteners underneath, slightly pull back on the fascia enough that we can reach inside and release the manufacturer's electrical wiring that runs to the fascia. We'll remove the fasteners to secure the lower rock guard. Once we removed the fasteners, we'll swing the rock guard down and remove it from the vehicle. more

Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2012 Toyota Tundra- Video
Today in our 2012 Toyota Tundra, we'll be installing the Curt TriFlex Trailer Brake Controller part number C51140. We'll be using this in conjunction with the direct connect wiring harness part number C51362. To begin our install, we'll first locate the manufacturer's tow port located on the driver side just above the edge of the kick panel. We can then take the direct connect harness white plug end and plug directly into the manufacturer's tow port. We'll then go ahead and start routing the harness over towards the center of the vehicle near the console being careful to stay away from any moving parts, such as the parking brake pedal. Next, we need to mount the brake controller. To mount the brake controller, we'll use the brake controller bracket and hardware provided with the install kit. We'll go ahead and take the hardware and secure the bracket directly to the brake controller first. Then we can take the bracket and secure itto the dash using the hardware provided. more

Yakima Roof Rack Fairing Review - 2002 Toyota Camry- Video
Today, on our 2002 Toyota Camry, we'll be test fitting the 44 inch Fairing for Yakima Roof Rack Crossbars part number Y07048. With the Yakima Round Bar Roof Rack system on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by removing the bolt and the wing-nut from each end of our Yakima fairing. Then, we'll place our clips onto our front crossbar. We'll go ahead and center it in line with our vehicle and then on each end we'll drop in the bolt and secure it by tightening down the wing-nut. Just like that our 44 inch Yakima Fairingis on our roof rack, and we're ready to go. That completes today's test fit for the 44 inch Fairingfor Yakima Roof Rack Crossbars part number Y07048 on our 2002 Toyota Camry. more

Convert-A-Ball Cushioned Weight Distribution Shank Review - 2013 Toyota Tundra- Video
Today on our 20132 Toyota Tundra, we'll be test fitting the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned Weight Distribution Shank for 2-inch hitches rated at 10,000 pounds, part number AMAC1. Now before we begin our test fit, we will first need to obtain a hitch height of our vehicle. This is the measurement from the ground to the inside top of the receiver tube, and we'll get a measurement of 19 inches. This measurement may vary due to hitch style, tire size or any other aftermarket accessories that will alter the hitch height of the vehicle. Now to begin our test fit in the drop position, we'll slide the shank into the opening of the receiver tube of our hitch and line up the pin holes. We'll then secure it to the Tundra with a pin and clip which is sold separately. more

Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount Adapter Review - 2013 Toyota Tundra- Video
Today, on our 2013 Toyota Tundra, we will be test fitting the converter ball, ball mount adapter for the cushion weight distribution shank, rated at 5,000 pounds, part number BA-1. Now, before we begin our test fit, we will first need to obtain a hitch height of our vehicle, which is the measurement from the ground to the inside top of the receiver tube and we will get a measurement of 19 inches. This measurement may vary, due to hitch style, tire size or any other after-market accessories that will alter the hitch height of the vehicle. Now, to begin our test fit with our converter ball cushion weight distribution shank already installed on our vehicle, part number AMAC-1, we will begin our test fit by inserting the ball mount adapter onto the downward part of the distribution shank. We will then insert the pins and measure from the ground to the top of the ball platform and we will get a measurement of about 12 inches. We can also flip the weight distribution shank over into the rise position and then with the ball mount adapter attached to the weight distribution shank, we can measure from the ground to the top of the ball platform and well get a measurement of about 25 inches. more

Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2012 Toyota Tacoma- Video
All right, today on this 2012 Toyota Tacoma were going to install a brake controller, part number 90885 from Tekonsha. This is a Prodigy P2. To help us install this were also going to use part number 3040-P. This is a cable that will go between the brake controller and the port on the truck. Well start off with this part number. Well go ahead and look for the port underneath the dash on the left hand side by the drivers side door. more
